Relation between quark and gluon condensates from QCD sum rules

چکیده
A new relation between ρ-meson mass, weak π-meson decay constant, quark and gluon condensates is derived from the QCD sum rules. As a byproduct an explanation for the dominance of ρρ-decay for the f0(1370)-meson is proposed. Pacs: 12.38.Lg

Methods of calculation of higher power corrections in QCD
Although the methods of calculation of power corrections in QCD sum rules are well known, algebraic complexity rapidly grows with the increase of vacuum condensates’ dimensions. Currently, state–of–the–art calculations include dimension 7 and 8 condensates. I summarize and extend algorithms of such calculations. First, I present all the formulae necessary for application of the systematic class...
متن کاملTemperature dependence of electric and magnetic gluon condensates.
The contribution of Lorentz non-scalar operators to finite temperature correlation functions is discussed. Using the local duality approach for the one-pion matrix element of a product of two vector currents, the temperature dependence of the average gluonic stress tensor is estimated in the chiral limit to be 〈E2 + B〉T = π 2 10 bT . At a normalization point μ = 0.5 GeV we obtain b ≈ 1.1. Toget...
متن کاملThe mixed quark-gluon condensate from an effective quark-quark interaction
We exhibit the method for obtaining non perturbative quark and gluonic vacuum condensates from a model truncation of QCD. The truncation allows for a phenomenological description of the quark-quark interaction in a framework which maintains all global symmetries of QCD and allows an 1 Nc expansion. Within this approach the functional integration over the gluon fields can be performed and theref...
متن کاملOrder of the QCD transition and QCD sum rules.
We propose using the finite-temperature p-meson mass as an order parameter to monitor the QCD transition. This is suggested by the p-meson mass formula that emerges from finite-temperature QCD sum rules in the vector channel, and which encompasses the effects of both quark and gluon condensates. We find that a second-order chiral-restoring transition implies a second-order behavior for the p ma...
متن کاملRelating the Quark and Gluon Condensates Through the QCD Vacuum Energy
Using the Cornwall–Jackiw–Tomboulis effective potential for composite operators we compute the QCD vacuum energy as a function of the dynamical quark and gluon propagators, which are related to their respective condensates as predicted by the operator product expansion. The identification of this result to the vacuum energy obtained from the trace of the energymomentum tensor allow us to study ...
